Social Media

”In 2019, it is estimated that there will be around 2.77 billion social media users around the globe, up from 2.46 billion in 2017. Social network penetration worldwide is ever-increasing. In 2017, 71 per cent of internet users were social network users and these figures are expected to grow.”
2.77 Billion, think about that figure next time you hear someone say social media doesn’t / hasn’t / couldn’t work for their business. Social media has been, by far, the single greatest change in marketing the industry has ever seen. The key is to know how / when to use it and what platform works for your business. No, not every business should have a presence on every social platform but there is room for everyone to see the benefits.
What many businesses do is simply post a product and link then think it should sell. That’s not how these platforms work, the key is in the name.
    Social Media
Have a personality, be social, not everything you post has to be about your product/service. Yes, you can also promote content from other users too. Look at the likes of Net-a-porter / Mr Porter, Domino’s, Nike, Made.com to name a few. Then there are the personalities on social would understand how to communicate, promote, and engage on a completely different level, celebrities like Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson, Selena Gomez and Vin Diesel.
They offer their followers something they cannot get anywhere else, unique access to the person or brand. What is that makes your brand/product unique, what value are you adding to a persons life or business? These are the questions you should be asking yourself before you post and when you are planning content.
Ask yourself how important are influencers in your market? Can you use relationships and influencer programs to enhance your business?
We have a number of influencer and brand ambassador programs running at present and can advise on both setup and management.
